About the Role
Responsible for the ongoing management and technical development of the market database and distribution systems, including product distribution channels and physical media, within the Marketing Department's remit. The role holder should expect to work closely with other members of the Commercial Team, with managers and staff of other departments, with the Senior Marketing and Commercial Managers, and with other passenger industry stakeholders as necessary and appropriate.
Responsible to maintain and marketing systems, including the national database, distribution database and online sales facility, managing the outsourced providers of the contracts. To devise and implement product and system developments in line with agreed strategy, to ensure products and system exploit opportunities provided by industry and technological developments in line with agreed strategy.
This person will have to manage relationships with online sales suppliers and ensure the system is maintained and developed appropriately in line with ongoing requirements for its usage. To monitor developments in technology in markets, identifying opportunities to improve the products and their marketing and development proposals.
What We're Looking For
A forward thing who has the ability to implement projects immediately.
Experience of working with databases of CRM.
Experience of implementing campaigns both on and offline.
Experience of DM campaigns and working with multiple suppliers.
Experience of managing high value, high profile projects to time and to budget. Direct responsibility for budgetary planning, expenditure and control.
