Job Description

An exciting opportunity has been made available for a skilled Media Manager to work for a leading player in the pensions market.  Based in impressive offices in a sought after location just a short walk from London Bridge the role of the media manager is both challenging and diverse.

The role will report directly to the head of PR & Communications and will have full responsibility for running the press office, and dealing with all high profile media enquiries.

This position will also have responsibility for creating and rolling out integrated and targeted media campaigns and strategies and will provide the business with general media support for any ad-hoc projects and activities (including occasional events, conferences and networking sessions).

The role will also deputise for the head of PR and Communications as and when necessary and will be highly customer facing.  Due to this front-line experience of working with journalists and members of the press would be highly desirable.

The successful applicant will also have experience of working in an in-house press office or have exposure to journalism in one way shape or form.  Any exposure to the financial services market would also be desirable as would experience of working with the government and/or public sector.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled media manager who is looking for a real challenge in both a hands on and commercially driven role.

Salary from £42,500 to £55,000 + benefits
