About the Role
The role holder should expect to work closely with other members of the commercial team, with managers and staff of other departments, with senior marketing and commercial manager, and other passenger industry stakeholders as necessary and appropriate.
This person will be responsible for the implementation and evaluation of tactical activities, including press advertising, direct marketing and sales promotions. Working closely with retained advertising and PR agencies, sales promotion agencies, IT suppliers and fulfilment houses in maintaining the agreed provision and quality of services.
This role will contribute to the annual, and longer term, planning processes, both strategic and budgetary. Monitor and review any publicity materials produced by the company and other transport industry stakeholders. Reporting to the marketing manager on the importance of any noted changes and completive developments.
Support the National Marketing Group and other working groups, through the preparation of agendas, minutes and provisions of other information and materials and organising meetings, ensuring meeting rooms, equipment and refreshments are available.
What We're Looking For
Need to have project management experience working with Direct Marketing and Email marketing campaigns and construction both on and offline.
Experience of working with PR and creative agencies, suppliers and good time management.
Familiarity with the principles of budgetary management and financial reporting.
Experience of working as part of a multi-skilled team, in a commercially-orientated environment.
