This is one of the most exciting marketing director roles within the FMCG market, working for a leading brand within the drinks industry.
About the Client
An international drinks brand with an enviable reputation for delivering challenging marketing messages and creating excitement about the product across a range of channels including event sponsorship and TTL channels. 2007 produced record sales growth for the business - they are a very profitable and innovative business and brand.
About the Role
The role will take responsibility for a team of over 40 marketers and a multi-million pound marketing budget. It will provide leadership for the marketing team, managing the delivery of the UK marketing strategy whilst also offering innovation and creativity in the marketing message. In addition, the Marketing Director will work with the international business to create a UK approach and defining the plans and deliverables required to ensure both sales volumes and brand awareness targets are achieved.
What We're Looking For
This role will suit a marketing leader', someone who has a passion and a demonstrable track record in team leadership. An ability to create a vision for the team and manage the talents within it whilst also ensuring delivery of key targets and the right level of innovation into the marketing strategy. It is also important for this individual to work closely with the international business to collaborate on key messages and brand identity. The individual must have worked in a senior role within a consumer marketing environment and have evidence of differentiation through marketing. They must also be incredibly comfortable with, and be adaptable in, a fast-paced environment.
