This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to work with a respected and large Financial Services organisation to develop a broad spectrum of skills and experience in proposition design, commercial management within the commercial card industry and Medium Business segment while also developing an understanding of business travel. Joining a small team enables the job holder to deliver a number of differing initiatives which extend across the marketing mix.
The Medium Business Segment Manager will execute the marketing plan and support initiatives for the medium business segment.
This activity will typically include, Direct Mail campaigns, Statement message and insert campaigns, promotion of my clients value added service partners, strategic sponsorship events e.g. Institute of Travel Managers, product launches to this segment, generation of leads for Medium Business Sales, Collateral amends/new.
The job holder will develop relationships with Marketing Services who will execute the campaign brief with the agency, CVM data analysts to spot opportunities for profit growth, Sales and will report into the Senior Segment Manager.
· Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of our customers, markets and environmental change and competitors; and identification of resulting actions. With a specific focus on the Medium Segment customer needs.
· Play a key role in shaping overall BPU strategy through a deep and sustained customer understanding.
· Develop innovative solutions to marketing challenges. (e.g., maximising the value of wallet share across UK Banking and Issuing Business).
· Develop and deliver marketing campaigns and activities through a variety of channels ensuring delivery to agreed time, cost & quality measures.
Required Technical Skills
· Previous experience of either commercial cards or consumer cards and / or
· Previous experience in a B2B market place with particular focus on customers with between 1m and 15m annual sales turnover
· 3 years marketing experience or a relevant marketing communication e.g. CIM or a marketing module in another professional qualification e.g. ACIB
· Proven experience in the project-planning arena
