Job Description

Outline Duties:
ˇ         To make a major contribution to the development of the personal finance strategy and hence the success of the business. Working closely with the Business Development Manager & other Executive Committee members
ˇ         Liaise and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to forge profitable and sustainable business relationships with all major UK card issuers 
ˇ         Work closely with the IT team to ensure any improvements or changes which need driving forward from business development are completed and communicated to our partners
ˇ         Recruit and develop a Credit Cards team as need to be to support daily business and continued development of the solution
ˇ         Appropriate administration, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison.
ˇ         Record, analyse, report and administer relevant data and information.
ˇ         Analyse and interpret financial statistics and other data and produce relevant reports.
ˇ         Interpret instructions and issues arising, and then implement actions according to administrative policies and procedures.
ˇ         Research and investigate information to enable strategic decision-making by others.
ˇ         Arrange and participate in meetings, conferences, and project team activities.
ˇ         Approve decisions, requests, expenditure and recommendations on behalf of senior people in their absence, according to agreed guidelines and policies.

Essential Skills / Experiences:
ˇ         Commercial aptitude
ˇ         Analysis and interpretation of management information
ˇ         Proactive and highly numerate with clear focus on achieving measurable results
ˇ         Strong knowledge of payment card products (Credit cards, pre-paid cards, debit cards)
ˇ         Strong persuasive skills
ˇ         Able to plan and manage multiple tasks to deliver results within agreed timescales
ˇ         Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels                 
 
Education Requirements:        
ˇ         Degree level education or equivalent intellectual experience
ˇ         Suitable business / product related qualifications
