Product Development Manager
Negotiable Salary
Birmingham, West Midlands
Our client has been providing financial care since 1841.
Reporting to the Senior Product Development Manager, it will be your responsibility to take ownership for the range of pension, investment, protection, mortgage and insurance products. On a daily basis you will monitor competitor developments in order to identify product opportunities for both existing and new channels. You will be required to build relationships with suppliers and will liase with customers to ensure that new product developments meet customers needs and expectations. You will be responsible for managing budgets, producing analysis and reports, ensuring all campaigns comply with FSA regulations and managing all administrative duties within the area.
To be successful in this role you must have experience of working in a product development role, gained within the Financial Services industry. A born communicator both, written and verbal you will be confident when dealing with people at all levels within the business. You should have strong negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills and will have knowledge of project management.
Applicants will ideally have a qualification in marketing and or a technical qualification and will be IT literate.
They are looking to fill this post on a permanent basis or a minimum 12 month Fixed term contract.
The Fixed Term contract salary will be £80,000.
The Permanent salary will be up to £55,000 + benefits + relocation support.
