My Client, a leading Financial Services business based in Worcestershire, is looking to appoint the brand new role of Sales & Marketing (Commercial) Director.
The role of the Commercial Director combines elements of sales, marketing and product portfolio management with a focus on meeting company targets for growth, efficiency and profitability.
The role therefore requires the Commercial Director to:
*Develop and deliver an effective B2B and B2C sales and marketing strategy supported by relevant initiatives to generate future business
*Identify and drive new business opportunities, supported by effective due diligence and commercial evaluations
*Develop and maintain effective client relationships with business partners and product providers in order to ensure revenue streams are maximised
*Carry out effective market research, assessments and continually monitor the progress of sales and marketing initiatives in order to deliver business success
*Identify and manage the appropriate commercial risk for new ventures or products
*Play a key role within the companys senior management team
*Develop effective staff initiatives in order to foster and promote a high performance sales and customer focused culture
Who were looking for
My client is looking for "hands on" commercial candidates to generate leads, develop relationships and affinity partnerships, marketing planning/strategy, get their hands on lead generation data / know where to find it, drive activity and present at board meetings.
You will have extensive experience within the financial (or related) services sector, and be able to demonstrate considerable ROI in the marketing and BD initiatives you have managed.
