Top 20 Law firm is seeking a PR manager to be a genuine number 2 in the department.
About the Client
This is an exciting business with a large focus on client retention and management. Best practice consistency is of true importance and as a result this is a refreshing and dynamic environment to work in. Based in the London office of a global law firm you will be a key member of the PR team.
About the Role
With responsibility for an executive and an assistant you will be responsible for building relationships with legal, specialist and national media in order to raise the profiles of a range of practice groups. You will work in conjunction with the Head of PR to set the PR strategy while working with your team to ensure media relations work of the highest calibre.
What We're Looking For
You will need to demonstrate a strong track record in media relations, thought leadership and crisis management. Established media contacts with relevant legal, national and trade journalists are not necessary for the role however good relationships with relevant journalists would be advantageous, as would experience in a legal practice.
An strong understanding of the City is essential as well as good knowledge of the media. You must have strong writing and editorial skills and be a strategic thinker able to cope with complex specialist material and a challenging environment. You will have proven experience in PR.
