Role Purpose: This summarises the overall purpose of the role - how it adds value
·Work as part of a team responsible for delivering a programme of Business to Business sponsorships, exhibitions and conferences.
·Responsible for the design, delivery and measurement of sponsorship campaigns, exhibitions and conferences at International, national, regional and sector level in support of the business' focus and priorities.
·Liaise closely with the business regarding objectives and priorities for sponsorship activity.
·Work in conjunction with the Communications and Marketing Services teams to maximise leverage and profile of sponsorship activity.
·Roll out the pre-agreed Economic Seminar Series.
·Provide marketing consultancy advice for business seminars across the network.
Key Role Deliverables: Criteria/results by which success can be measured
·Review and assess requests for sponsorships against business fit, objectives and plans, focussing on International, National, Regional and Sector activity.
·Identify business to business sponsorship opportunities to maximise brand profile and business generation opportunities.
·Project management of sponsorships, conferences and exhibitions ensuring maximum brand profile and full leverage of business generation opportunities.
·Work with the other marketing desks to promote, develop and implement an integrated marketing plan to ensure that the brand profile and the benefits of each sponsorship are fully maximised e.g. direct mail, PR and advertising.
·Identify and negotiate terms with suppliers to ensure that quality and value for money is achieved at all times. Lead on the agreement and signing of formal contract terms when required.
·Oversee and provide marketing consultancy advice for business seminars across the network, in particular the Economic Seminar Series.
·Manage display equipment across the division in accordance with brand guidelines.
·Manage each activity in accordance with budget and maintain accurate and up-to-date Management Information.
·Evaluate each sponsorship activity to assess return on investment against key measurables, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
·Share best practices and processes with the team.
