A fascinating contract role for a PR and Communications professional based in Bristol to join a charity over two days a week for several months, helping to drive the organisation's PR and communications activity.
You will handle PR and media relations, event management, publications and website management. There will also be some corporate affairs work, monitoring the parliamentary environment and researching key people and groups.
You should be confident writing for a range of publications and happy taking care of hands-on work, e.g. selling-in stories to the media (local and national media, including specialist publications).
It would be a great help if you have experience of working in either the charitable, NFP or public sector, handling complex issues with intelligence and sensitivity.
Overall the role requires an all-rounder with experience that could have been gained within a consultancy / agency or larger organisation.
