Regional Development And Support Manager £43,000 - £51,000

South West

 

 

My client, a national public sector resource, has a vacancy for a regional development and support manager. You will report to the director whilst coordinating directly with the regional programme manager.

 

Primarily, the role will focus on providing support from the initial planning, through to the evaluation of social marketing programmes.

 

You will also:

 

·         Proactively identify, assess and secure new business opportunities

·         Develop capacity and skills in social marketing related work in the relevant local region.

·         Extend and manage regional and local stakeholders, such as regional agencies, NHS, local authorities, community and voluntary, private and academic sectors.

·         Coordinate the development and delivery of links between national and local centres to ensure that the relevant social marketing interventions are embedded.

·         Assist in the recruitment and training of qualified human resource staff

·         Raise awareness and the need for effective behavioural intervention and social marketing principles.

 

The person·         Graduate or equivalent, depending on experience

·         Programme/project management experience

·         Good understanding of multi-sector working and approaches, particularly NHS and local Government.

·         The ability to express complex ideas both orally and in writing.

·         Understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods, to include data analysis.
