Job Description

Your background maybe blue chip and you are disillusioned or a small organisation with a wide marketing responsibility and for this role either is fine; my client are looking for a key player with experience of the areas listed below but most of all someone that can put together a strategic business plan and carry out with conviction! The Marketing Director wants someone to challenge and lead from the front.

You will be involved in all the following areas:

* Effective annual planning
* Project and budget management
* Customer centric
* NPD, CRM, digital, events
* Experience of managing internal and external teams
* Challenge customer focus
* Campaign management
* Communication
* Fundraising


To identify new opportunities, create and implement an inspiring marketing plan through a series of multi-channel campaigns to deliver business objectives.

To create and develop a New Product Development programme to maximise and effectively focus marketing opportunities for each customer segment.

To develop excellent working relationships with existing and potential departmental stakeholders. Helping to raise the profile of departmental projects, encouraging cross departmental working, partnership building and achieving the effective delivery of creative and cost effective campaigns.

To design and implement the multi-site strategy for the short and long term. Ensuring stakeholders understand the benefits, opportunities and their responsibilities for the effective management and on-going delivery by local operational teams.

To produce, evaluate and respond to other policy and strategic documents in line with the Sales and Marketing directorate objectives.

Contribute to the organisation strategic budget and control the department budget in line with agreed limits and timescales
