MARKETING MANAGER

World leading business events company is looking for a Marketing Manager to strategise, oversee and execute the plans for some of their most high profile conferences.

The Company:

· Providing excellent training and first class personal development

· Working with FTSE 100 companies across different industries from defence, logistics, pharmaceutical, automotive and finance

· Part of worldwide network

· Annual group turnover of £40m

· Produce the market leading and topical events where all of the key decisions makers attend

The Role:

· Putting together campaigns and plans for leading global business events

· Managing all aspects of Direct marketing from online, DM, database manipulation and all above the line marketing

· Report directly to Deputy Marketing Director

· Constructing marketing plans, overseeing and executing strategy

· Negotiating contra deals with external parties

· Produce all aspects of DM including online, direct mailing and above the line advertising

· Creating profit analysis and managing ROI

· Building CRM database and systems allowing for future marketing activity

· Work closely with other international offices

The Person:

· Proven success within an events marketing role

· Background in direct marketing with detailed analytical ability

· Experience within an events or conference marketing role

· Proven background in identifying new business opportunities

· Results orientated with a clear commercial understanding and awareness

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Confident net worker and effective negotiator

· Ability to work under pressure, organise and multi-task
