Marketing Manager (Membership)

Our client exists to promote and progress civil engineering.
As part of their revitalisation over the last four years, they have established a dedicated marketing team and require a proactive and experienced Marketing Manager to develop targeted marketing campaigns to promote their range of membership services. This is an excellent opportunity to ride on the crest of high profile civil engineering projects.
You will be managing our client's marketing team which uses market intelligence to inform and inspire campaigns designed to recruit and retain members, effectively promoting the wide variety of membership grades and competitions. This specialised role will give you the opportunity to expand on their nearly 80,000 global memberships, represented in areas like the UK, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.
Approachable and with a creative and open mind, you will oversee the marketing of their membership products and services. Your duties will include using market intelligence to develop proactive and creative marketing campaigns, work with affiliated bodies to help raise the profile of civil engineering, manage market research and metrics analysis, and support our commercial business to leverage joint opportunities when appropriate.
They are looking for a proven and successful leader who has demonstrable experience gained within a marketing environment and ideally of dealing with committees and regionalised offices. Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, you will need budget and departmental financial knowledge coupled with sound project management skills, be politically astute, and have a creative flair and proactive approach.
