If you are looking for a role that will allow you to use your full mix of marketing/PR experience this is the role for you. My client is a top marketing agency specialising in sports and entertainment and they are looking for either a junior Account Executive (with 6 months + relevant experience) or an Account Manager (2-4 years experience) and salary will be relevant to experience.
The company has a very high profile client base in the sporting world so they need someone passionate about sports, and in particular Rugby as well as the entertainment sector. They run some large scale events, PR and marketing campaigns and the areas which they cover mean that you will have to have excellent communication and client facing skills, a charming and confident manner, top notch writing skills, an ability to manage client accounts and develop accounts, and a strong academic background.
In regards to academic background, they would prefer a graduate with an extra qualification in marketing or PR, such as the CIM or CIPR, or a degree that relates to marketing/PR. If you do not have an extra qualification, then you will be put through a relevant course as part of their training.
You will need to be numerate and intelligent, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. The company offer strong training and the chance to be fully involved from day one.
