The company currently has an exciting opportunity for a Fundraising and Development Professional to join our team in Cholsey.
The post holder will provide assistance to the Development Director in gaining external funding for the growth and development of new and existing projects. You will be expected to coordinate and maximise bidding opportunities for external funds, whilst providing expertise to the company on the main sources of funding.
Working in partnership with local authorities, you will lead funding and fundraising applications for key identified projects and provide support to local applications. This will include providing advice and guidance on preparing high quality bids. You will also be required to support the submissions of tenders when necessary.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of education and experience of submitting successful bids in funding sources such as government, lottery, charitable trusts and corporate investment funds. You will also have some knowledge of the main sources of funding and tools for researching grant funding.
They are looking for a creative individual with a desire to develop and improve the quality of future funding applications and tenders. It is essential that you are able to prioritise competing demands whilst meeting deadlines for submitting high quality bids under pressure. You must have competency in leading multi-disciplinary teams, building collaborative partnerships and inspiring others.
