Exhibition Project Manager – Tip Top Charity
£28000k - £30000k Basic + Excellent Benefits & Prospects
Our client a Tip Top Independent Charity Organisation, are seeking to recruit an Exhibition Project Manager with two years recent Exhibition Project Management experience in a similar role.
Their aim is to help everyone explore the story of how monarchs and people have shaped society, in some of the greatest palaces ever built. Each of the five royal palaces in their care has survived for hundreds of years. They have witnessed peace and prosperity and splendid periods of building and expansion, but they also share stories of more turbulent times, of war and domestic strife, politics and revolution.

The Exhibitions Project Manager role will be responsible for the design and delivery of the Interpretation Programme across the company, using industry good practice in interpretation and presentation; to implement the project management framework for delivering interpretation projects with appropriate professional skills.

Key Responsibilities of the Exhibitions Project Manager are as follows:

Implementation of the project management framework for efficient and cost-effective delivery of interpretation projects within the companies programme
Co-ordinated and creative thinking with other teams and departments to help contribute towards an innovative and visitor-facing interpretation programme
Exemplary use of interpretation skills to aid delivery of companys Cause (and the Interpretation Strategy
Implement appropriate financial management processes
Ensure that throughout the project’s development decisions are made that balance resource tensions and value for money with the best creative solutions
Develop a database of valued and preferred suppliers for the Interpretation Team to share
Work flexibly with the Interpretation team on the management of different interpretation projects.
Be prepared to take on new challenging projects with a variety of partners and audience-types
Co-ordinate evaluation methods to improve your interpretation practise, using both qualitative and quantative means, as well as front-end, formative and summative techniques
Maintain links with other teams and departments to keep interpretation on corporate agendas
Develop external links for future benefit of the company in interpretation with relevant bodies, professional peers and journalists etc.
