Account Executive PR - approx to £22k pa + fantastic benefits! - Surbiton, Surrey
The Company:
This dynamic, award-winning, long-standing Public Relations agency focusing on the technology markets and the education sector, is now seeking for a PR Account Executive for the opportunity to work across a dynamic client base spanning charities, research, education, publishing, telecommunication, broadcasting, biometric and electronic industries.
The role will be varied and responsibilities will include:
Day to day client contact, relationship management.
Tactical implementation of agreed UK and European PR campaigns
Supporting the business development activity across existing client base and for new business; undertaking research and presenting to client.
Media relations, incl pitching, liaison, editorial meetings, managing interviews
Writing and content generation.
Monitoring the media for breaking news
Tactical media campaign planning
Developing client proposals
Project management and event co-ordination
Education/skillsets required:
Graduate or Post Graduate Degree an advantage.
Ideally with previous agency background and established tech, business media and industry analyst contacts. A self-motivator with a drive and passion for the media is essential.
Journalism or editorial skills an advantage.
Microsoft Office skills
Internet and online research and navigation skills
Mainland European languages desirable
Enthusiastic, €˜can-do' approach; genuine desire to learn; good communication skills both orally and in writing.
