Job Description

My client are a successful public sector organisation which has provided support to the community within Wakefield and the wider area.

They are now recruiting a public relations officer to provide copywriting and wider communications support, be a key point of contact for other areas within the business requiring advice on PR and communications issues, ensure key deadlines for copywriting and productions are met, be first contact for media enquiries, attend events and meetings and act as an ambassador for the team.

You will have 12 months experience in a relevant communications environment with exposure to elements of PR, or agency and with strong writing skills. You will provide evidence of effective communication skills to people and high a high understanding of customer care.
