An ongoing freelance contract working for a charity, taking-on PR and copy writing responsibilities and demonstrating high levels of pro-activity and initiative.
Joining this charity at an exciting time in its history you will work on your own initiative to identify and exploit media opportunities, pro-actively targeting media and using a range of information sources to write engaging and informative case studies, articles etc.
You should be an experienced PR and media professional, confident in your ability to seek-out and exploit opportunities, able to handle every stage of the process from research through to writing and follow-up.
Most of the copy is case-study / feature based, so if you have skills as a journalist this could be ideal, and you should have a portfolio of similar projects.
You will be joining a charity that works on some high-profile topical issues whose work is of great interest to the public, business and Government.
Offered on a freelance basis on a 3 month rolling contract this role could develop into a long-term arrangement and offers a great opportunity to work in a friendly, professional and challenging environment.
