Job Description

My client is looking for a development manager or the Northern region to source and obtain funding from appropriate organisations to achieve sponsorship targets.
Key responsibilities:

- Obtain funding to achieve sponsorship targets
- Champion the development department internally and externally
- Ensure delivery of projects by developing relationships internally
- Build external relationships with relevant potential sponsors and partners to the attraction
- Spend within budget ensuring value or money
- Comply with H&S legislation
- Adhere to organisational policies and procedures to protect people and the attraction's reputation

Key Attributes:
-The ideal candidate must have experience of successful fundraising for projects in excess of £50k
-Highly developed interpersonal skills
-Proficient in using Microsoft Office
-Flexible and able to adapt to change
-Ability to deal with a variety of people
-Highly developed persuading and influencing skills
