Our client is one of the world's leading football representation agencies, providing management services and expert advice to over 100 professional footballers across the globe. This role will be managing one of their high profile footballers.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Brand Relationship Manager, who in affect will be a commercial marketing and sponsorship professional.
Candidates will have a proven record in marketing, preferably coming from a sporting or agency background, but other commercial consumer marketing backgrounds would be considered.
It is essential to have good experience of branding, sponsorship and event management, along with a solid understanding of the legalities of contracts involved and their implications.
Key Responsibilities
· To liaise with and manage the high profile footbalers sponsors on a daily basis
· Developing footbalers brand and image
· Work closely with the agent to manage the players commercial interests
· Plan and organise his attendance at events and functions
· Liaise with sponsors and their marketing teams to ensure obligations are fulfilled successfully.
· Ensure that the footballers image is protected at all events, TV appearances and photo shoots
· Accompany him to all promotional events and other sponsorship obligations.
Candidate Requirements
· Experience within sports, agency or consumer marketing
· Must have the ability to develop strong relationships based on trust and commercial acumen
· Outstanding commercial marketing ability and strong organisational skills.
· Experience of reading and negotiating legal contracts
· Energy and enthusiasm along with a passion for sport
· Availability to work unpredictable hours and travel
