Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Marketing Manager, to join this well known, named retail branding agency. They design stores, buildings, the brands to the ads that sell their products, the interior environment, the packaging to the whole brand experience! Famous for awards and one of the most established agencies in town.

You will play an integral part of the business able to spot opportunity for marketing where appropriate. You'll be the lynch pin within the new business department and will be responsible for leading the marketing team's activity, generating all new business proposals, qualifying all incoming new business opportunities or queries and liaising with client services on pitch activity. You will need to be a good all rounder, with the ability to organise photo shoots, to press coverage, writing press releases, to establishing key new business initiatives, to targeting key market sectors.

Part of the role will cover the following key areas:

-Arranging photo-shoots of client projects both national and international
-Maintain and update studio portfolio and updating press coverage portfolio
-Submitting projects for inclusion in retail design books
-Ensure all information available in hard-copy and electronic format
-Press, TV and radio liaison
-Prepare press releases and submit to clients for approval
-Issue agreed press releases to press contacts
-Arrange and assist writing of articles for publications
-Manage MD Press TV and radio interviews
-Establish new press and media outlets
-Regular email-shots to current clients and potential clients
-Maintain and develop a detailed database of existing and potential clients
-Proposal writing and meeting with potential clients to establish briefs
-Reading relevant publications, printed a online to discover opportunities
-Attendance of and speaking at key client presentations
-Fee negotiation and management of ongoing budget
-Reporting both internal and external
-Regularly update directory entries printed and online
-Arrange speaking slots at relevant conferences
-Identify relevant trade fares and arrange trade fairs
-Arrange attendance at relevant seminars lunches and dinners
-Arrange client study tours and meetings
-Establish key awards to enter for maximum exposure
-Prepare entries to relevant awards
-Carry out continuous research on developments in relevant sectors
-Present developments to studio in regular meetings
-Carry out specific research for key new business opportunities
-Carry out specific research and obtain information and materials for live projects

You must have a strong track record within marketing, either having come from working on the client side within a Marketing role or a Marketing/Sales role within an agency. If you are looking for a new challenge in a friendly, professional and talented environment please apply!
