My client is looking for a first rate Group Account Director to lead and develop their largest FMCG/retail client within the agency.

You will lead a dynamic account team of approximately 12 people, with 3 Account Directors as direct reports and work with the Associate Director to develop and drive the client's strategy across their market.

A full service Below the Line role, working from concept development to implementation to post activity evaluation on all campaigns and brand planning activity. The campaigns are highly varied and include branding and identity development, packaging, licensing, partnerships, POS, photography, experiential, direct and internal marketing and liaison with our partner Above the Line, Media and Digital agencies.

You will be responsible for:

·Client relationships
·Strategic direction
·Manage and develop the account team on a day-to-day basis
·Strategic and creative output of team
·Oversee effective delivery of day to day projects
·Financial management and reporting
·Actively seek profitable opportunities to grow the account
·Internal communication

Essential experience and skills required:
·Experienced Marketing and Communications professional
·Experience in the retail and/or FMCG markets
·Outstanding promotions experience (product and games)
·Solid business and financial acumen
·Solid consumer account experience
·Self starter that has the tenacity for new business development
·Strong attention to detail, good time management, people and project management
and communication skills
·Organised, proactive team player
