Senior Account Manager - Strategic Brand Consultancy / Packaging - London - up to £40K

This leading independent strategic brand consultancy and creative agency are looking for an ambitious Senior Account Manager to join their team.
They work across brand strategy, brand identity, portfolio strategy, packaging design, dispense design, innovations, consumer research, insight and planning.

The Senior Account Manager reports into and closely works with one of the Directors and has ongoing management responsibility for one or more clients being the key contact in all areas. He/She will be measured and rewarded based on his/her ability to maintain and increase client satisfaction and eventually fee volume.

The primary responsibilities of this role are:
- Key client contact point and responsible for the project management meeting the agreed time and quality standards
- Coordinating all communication with the client
- Actively managing the client - agency relationship building and extending the network within a client and using the agency resources as appropriate
- Preparing creative briefs and coordinating / supervising the creative development process
- Responsible for managing short term business targets and financial aspects and coordinating annual business planning with Director
- Coordinating and supporting brand planning and consultancy projects closely working with Directors

The new Senior Account Manager will ideally be:
- In a client facing management role in a communication, design or marketing agency
good experience in working with and guiding creative teams
- Familiar with the basic requirements of developing and implementing (artwork/production) of print projects
- Very imaginative and interested in all aspects of branding and packaging design
- Ability to produce verbal and visual design briefs
- A design related education or work experience is beneficial
- Quality of thinking

- Preparation, presentation and attention to detail
- Motivated and ambitious
- Identify and follow-up on opportunities
- Business development skills
- Self-starting, self managing and motivated in a fast paced environment
