Our client is a fresh, innovative and exciting FMCG business with an enviable brand portfolio and ambitious growth plans. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and successful Senior Brand Manager to join their current talent pool.
The key remit of the role is the continuous development of the strategic direction of the brand to achieve increased growth and profitability. Innovation across all elements of the marketing mix is crucial and a high level of creativity is required. NPD is a major part of the role, as is the development of strong advertising and communication activities. You will be a key member of the marketing department providing leadership within the team and also, more broadly, within the organisation to drive success of your brand. Strong communication skills are essential to gain alignment from key internal stakeholders to your brand plans.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience across the full marketing mix. An ability to work cross functionally is key, as is an ability to represent the company externally. You will be able to bring creativity to the role to create innovative ideas but you will also be able operate in a heavily commercial and profit orientated environment. Experience of above and below the line advertising will be advantageous. Preferably you will currently be in an FMCG environment and you will be seeking your next challenge in a well-respected and premium brand focussed organisation.
