A blue chip FMCG business with innovation at its heart requires a Category Director to manage a portfolio of iconic food brands.
The main purpose of the role is to manage the brand and category teams for the business unit - as a result you should have experience of developing both areas.
Brand innovation is a key part of this role and you will be part of a team with a reputation for delivering products outside the traditional channels. This requires strong NPD experience as well as commercial acumen and strong internal and external networking skills.
The key responsibilities will be to:
Deliver annual profit targets for the business unit
Define and deliver innovation
Develop and execute brand and channel plans
Deliver category growth within key retailers
Demonstrate category knowledge through shopper insights
Lead and develop a multifunctional team to meet and exceed their objectives
