Global Marketing Manager

Luxury brand experience in a premium, ‘image’ based sector including spirits, cosmetics, fragrances or other luxury good? A flair for disciplined strategic thinking and clever, imaginative A&P development? This is a superb role in which you will manage a key strategic brand portfolio with a clear brief to move it forward on a global basis, driving penetration and loyalty amongst a premium consumer segment. With a full range of marketing tools available, you will develop new global ATL campaigns, manage NPD and range extensions and use your skills to target top-end consumers via sponsorship & PR, web-based activity and face-to-face marketing techniques.
Our Ideal Candidate
A robust full-mix consumer goods training almost certainly in FMCG or premium drinks but possibly in another luxury or premium goods category, is essential for this challenging role. At the very least, you will have empathy with premium/luxury goods and an intuitive feel for what drives interest and purchase in these categories. International exposure and willingness to travel regularly is also important, possibly with some exposure to the Asian market. Above all, you will enjoy working autonomously, securing buy-in to your ideas from colleagues and distributors using your strong influencing skills. You will have a quick, analytical approach to understanding business issues, but also be able to think laterally and tackle sometimes challenging problems.
