Marketing Manager An exciting marketing manager position has arisen to work with an FMCG business whose brands are well-loved and recognised across the UK.
They are seeking an innovative self starter to join their team of established brands and lead activity. The opportunity allows you to propel profit by developing and leading brand schemes by increasing the presence of their brands.
You will be leading and analysing the brand strategy plus the activities within the planning process including PR, packaging, promotions and pricing among other responsibilities. In addition you will report on brand performance while generating strategy plans. An innovative and creative individual is required as NPD is a large aspect of the role.
You will be responsible from the idea level right through past the launch stage and will lead cross-functional teams for these NPD projects.
The role requires a high level of numeracy skills as management of brand spending, delivery against P&L, KPIs and tracking supplier payment is involved throughout the role.
In order to apply, you will need to be educated to a degree level or equivalent with brand management experience within FMCG marketing, ideally in the food sector. Experience of budget monitoring, NPD, pricing and promotions activity and successful leadership abilities are also required. In addition excellent communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with Supply Chain, Sales teams and the Category Controller.
