Job Description

My client operates within the branded and own-label chilled food & beverage arena. The business manufacturers and distributes a highly innovative and exciting product base of private label goods to all the major multiples. The company also produces a highly sought after range of branded and private label snacks, condiments and desserts. Its mission is to produce and distribute quality products using natural and healthy ingredients.
Although the UK operation is relatively small it still produces and markets a number of reputable UK leading brands, and also are category captains in most of the major multiple retailers.
This exceptional opportunity is for a driven, commercially aware and an outstanding food marketer to operate within a challenging category to deliver success on a very large scale. The objectives for this Trade Marketing Manager role is to identify category insights, communicate these insights into strategies. Also by working directly alongside the Director of Brands you will have the ability to shape and re-define the communication of the core brand portfolio.
A prerequisite for the role is the understanding for Category Management and changing these into actionable strategy. You will also have a demonstrable track record of relationships with major retailers within their head offices. Understanding the way brands operate is essential so a mix of own-label and branded food experience would be beneficial.
This exceptional role is of huge importance to this particular organisation, and only the best category marketing skill is required to cope with the high pressure category requirements.
