Want to escape the pressures of the city and head West and join a small business that specialises in premium food? What you'll need is a background in insights or category management. Teams are lean and you will report directly into a Marketing Manager supporting top and bottom line growth through a category-led approach to brand and own label sales development. You'll be working closely with the commercial and brand teams evaluating category performance, trends, shopper segmentation and identifying gaps to develop category growth and NPD.
Our Ideal Candidate
You will be highly numerate with very strong analytical skills gained in market research or category management roles. You will be using these skills to spot category insights and drivers to support brand and own label innovation, NPD and pricing and promotional strategies. You will work closely with the commercial team to deliver well-structured retailer presentations and also assist customers with specific category and range reviews. You will also be working closely with data and market research providers. You will have strong interpersonal skills and be a confident presenter. You will enjoy working in a lean team environment and have a hands on, can do approach. A passion for food is essential.
