This is an exciting new role for a major food manufacturer in the Midlands. The business is well over £800m turnover with a strong history of profitable business growth, they are highly respected in the industry and win numerous awards for their premium product offerings. In terms of culture, this is a very people centric business, supportive and very team orientated.
We are now recruiting a totally new role for the business. This is a great role for someone who already has experience of working in the food industry or is classically FMCG trained to develop themselves further and broaden their experience. I need someone who has used Tesco link, and ideally Dunhummby data. Any exposure to IRI, Nielson or TNS would also be valuable.
The role will be based at a site and work closely on a profitable Tesco account, with full support and guidance from the Category Controller. You will also be working on wider marketing projects to collate and present information from other manufacturing sites, gained from the in-house category teams. This role will allow you to gain a greater understanding for over 7 categories and really test your organisational skills
You need to be able to influence, develop strong relationships and have the tenacity to think creatively. Strong analytical skills are crucial in the role, which could see you develop to a Category manager in the longer term.
