This branded, FMCG business with an impressive portfolio of brands has a new opportunity for a Trade Strategy Manager.
Your role will be to create promotional strategy in line with customer promotional plans, with a view to driving growth across all brands within your designated category. You will also be expected to monitor competitor data and always stay one step ahead, forecasting plans that will grow your own branded
portfolio ahead of theirs.
Other important areas of the role are to collaborate across the business with functions such as Sales, Finance, and Category Management to ensure pricing, pack and promotions are in line with customer objectives.
As Trade Strategy Manager you will join an integral commercial team that must influence internally and stand firm against internal stakeholders to ensure that the correct procedures and plans are in place to better the performance of its brands.
In order to be successful in this role you must be both strategic and analytical in your approach, whilst remaining commercial at all times. Ideally you will have come from a Retail Buying / Category Management / National Account Management background within FMCG Food. Or alternatively you may have taken a more traditional analytical route but still be a strong influencer and communicator.
