Digital Project Director - North West
Our client is a leading Digital agency and one of the fastest growing in the UK and are also the digital marketing agency of the year. They have a very diverse team and will offer a prospective candidate every opportunity to grow and develop their skills. They are looking for someone who takes great pride in their work, with the right attitude that will fit in to their highly skilled team and have the same passion and drive that they have for every project they work on.
They are looking for a Project Director with a solid background in the online/digital sectors to join the Manchester office of their award winning digital agency. You will head up multi-functional teams, providing project lead for designers and web developers, as well as playing a key part in the support of the wider Project Management and Project delivery teams. You will be working on interactive projects spanning a rich mix of website and microsite build, eCRM and online advertising for our diverse client list ranging from FMCG through lifestyle, to blue chip companies.
Responsibilities:
* To ensure the smooth running of projects undertaken by the client, within time and to budget
* To manage the expectations and communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle
* To work with colleagues to effectively manage resources across all Manchester projects and maximise company profitability
* To work on proposals and pitches in order to help secure new business
* End to end project management with overall responsibility for project success including: General day to day client contact, Resolve any project issues or disputes with client, Internal resource management, Produce client documentation including PIDs, functional specifications, milestone sign offs, test scripts etc
* To provide guidance, lead and assistance to fellow Project Managers to ensure the quality of our projects and that clients expectations are met
Requirements:
* First-rate knowledge of project process methodologies/techniques with solid project management experience at senior levels
* Extensive client facing experience in managing successful medium to enterprise sized web development projects demonstrating the ability to deliver projects on time, to budget and in line with the customers expectations
* Outstanding and demonstrable leadership, organisational and management skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Excellent negotiation and mediation skills
* A strong commercial focus and business acumen
* An agency background would be highly beneficial
* Educated to at least Degree level or equivalent
