Job Description

A global food and drink FMCG manufacturer currently has an unrivalled opportunity to build and own a shopper marketing function that will work closely with marketing and account teams to develop, communicate and manage implementation of branded point of purchase materials and events in alignment with the business's strategic initiatives

In undertaking this role, you will be tasked with the following key accountabilities and responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver trade marketing strategies and implement the plans.
• Manage trade marketing budget to deliver the agreed plans, on budget and on time.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the trade marketing world.
• Work closely with the consumer marketing group to deliver trade marketing activity that halos consumer marketing activity.
• Develop and deliver point of purchase materials and events with trade partners and other key stakeholders.
• Understanding of the retailer’s in-store and media vehicles and their relative effectiveness and ROI.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following knowledge and specific job skills:
• Trade marketing experience
• Leadership & influencing skills
• Project management experience
• Experience of effectively managing external agencies
• Priority setting
