Job Description

Craghoppers/Hawkshead - Campaign Manager
Salary Ł35,000 - Ł45,000

Craghoppers are a leading outdoor-wear brand who are at the fore-front of their niche industry. They have recently acquired Hawkshead clothing and are now looking for an experienced Campaign Manager to join their high-calibre marketing team to help take their brand to the next level. The role will be wholly responsible for driving the direct mail and web based campaigns to increase the databases, sales targets for both company brands. The ideal candidate must have previous experience of running high-level Marketing Campaigns and be passionate about driving sales and understand the return on investments.

Craghoppers is an outdoor, travel clothing company, which is part of the Regatta Group. There is a multi-channel distribution strategy in place, which includes direct sales through mail order and the internet.

About Hawkshead

Acquired by Craghoppers in 2007, Hawkshead also produces and sells outdoor clothing. Its main distribution channels are retail and direct. Since its acquisition, the focus has been on revitalising the brand and products in preparation for significant growth plans going forward.

Specific Responsibilities

To drive direct sales through mail order and the internet, for Craghoppers and Hawkshead
To grow the active database size for both brands with responsive prospecting programmes
To manipulate the customer databases with effective reactivation activity
To plan and implement direct sales campaigns, as part of an overall marketing plan to increase sales
To be proactive, and initiate, whenever necessary, web activity that increases sales
To input into the production of sales catalogues to ensure optimisation of sales techniques
To report, on a daily basis, to management, the direct sales performance for both brands
To ensure there are fully focussed and motivated teams in the Call Centre and working on the web, who are totally committed to delivering the sales plan
