Analysis Director (Tesco)
Up to £55,000 plus attractive bonus and flexible benefits package
London (Ealing)
Who did you say?
We said dunnhumby. And our prestigious clients did too. They include Tesco, Shell, Procter & Gamble and Casino. And Kroger. And Coca-Cola. We won’t be too surprised if you haven’t heard of us, because we’ve always been in the business of making our clients’ names bigger before our own. We think it’s time to change that, though. So we thought a new challenge was in order. For you, for our business and for our ever increasing brand profile.
So what is it you do?
We do a complex task expertly, comprehensively and with superior creative style. Starting with analysis of consumer purchase decisions we use that data to drive brand values and strengthen clients’ positions in a fiercely competitive global marketplace. As we say to them: customers don’t get stolen, they walk. So using a combination of IT, data analysis, creative skills and business expertise we give our clients’ consumers the best and most trusted reasons to stay exactly where they are.
And not just in the UK. Our global turnover is currently in excess of $300m and our people work across the UK as well as in Ireland, France, the US and India. It won’t stop there, either. With you working for us – building powerful client relationships – we can build on our impressive results to achieve even more.
And me?
Understanding the business objectives of our clients is crucial. Understanding our client’s customers is of paramount importance to ensure success. In partnership with the Tesco’s team in this high profile role, you will work with a team of dedicated analysts to create meaningful and actionable analysis using market research and transaction insight.
As a strategic lead in this process, you will develop action plans from the insight generated to add value to Tesco.
With a strong working knowledge of SAS and ideally SPSS coupled with a research and analytical background, you will ensure that the analysis work makes the most efficient possible use of human and computer resources available.
Why would I want to do it?
Because this is a key opportunity within our developing business, you have a chance to contribute to the overall vision and play a key part in understanding the Tesco’s shoppers’ thoughts. You have strong academics and experience working in a research/analytics agency or similar and you are now looking for an original new challenge. And in return, we’ll make things happen for you. It’s not just a competitive salary, it’s a chance to grow a new business doing a job you’ve always loved doing.
