This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and proactive individual to join this high-performing FMCG business within their marketing and category management department. You will responsible for understanding of the category and its performance, highlighting opportunities and areas for improvement.
Your responsibilities include:
- Understand and aim to improve a retailers space optimisation through understanding differences between store layouts/designs and adjacencies
- Instigate, manage and implement the range change process
- To create/maintain the critical path and its communication to retailer/suppliers
- Ensuring issue of range planograms and subsequent in-store execution
- Understand the importance of range planning and its impact on availability/offer and width of range/product differentiation/price and ultimately category sales performance
- Understand product performance and how it can be best optimised for the retailer with regards to pricing/promotions/display and signage/merchandising techniques
- Understand and keep abreast of current and future trends in the market/retailers/customers
To succeed in this role you will be self motivated, committed and be able to display excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal. You will be a graduate (or equivalent) with experience in a similar role of delivering insights and range, space and category analysis. You will be numerate with strong data analysis and interpretation skills and be able to manage the workload in line with flexible and ever changing deadlines.
