A brand new role created to reflect the success and growth of the business within a ecommerce team for the UKs leading supermarket.
The key responsibility of the role is to enhance website performance via detailed analytics. As such the aim will be to fully understand how visitors interact with the website to drive conversion.
Fully understand customer website behaviour via Google analytics & recommend remedial action. Business case analysis of all website developments and uilisation of sight analytics software to enhance understanding of customer behavior. Management of user experience based approach to website development cycle. Production of weekly eCommerce pack to communicate website performance to the directors and analysis of all routes to market to ensure cost effective (PPC, SEO, affiliates, email, social).
Development of revenue attribution model working with the Marketing team to recommend improvements based on analysis. Research & attendance of industry events to ensure up to speed with best practice in this fast developing area.
The successful candidate must be degree qualified (Maths, Business Studies, Economics). You will have experience in website analytics and an understanding of ecommerce (SEO, PPC, Campaigns etc). Highly analytical & logical with strong technical skills - Excel/Access/VBA/SQL.
This position would suit an ambitious and experienced web analyst.
