Job Description

Our client is a leading soft drinks business making, marketing and selling some of the UK's best loved soft drinks brands and boasting a consistent track record of delivering growth. Following double digit growth in the last twelve months alone a new Category Management role has been created to help deliver further growth.

Sitting within the commercial delivery team the role of Category Manager is responsible for managing category projects across all the major multiples. This will require very clos working relationships with customer contacts I order to develop and leverage relationships. You will be tasked with turning category data into actionable recommendations as well as space planning and range planning.

The successful candidate will have at least five years experience in a category management role gained within an FMCG setting. You will be customer facing with experience of working closely with the major mults and will be a proficient user of space planning software such as JDA or Spaceman. You will be highly numerate and analytical with the ability to turn data into actionable insights. Relationship building and negotiating skills are crucial to your success in this role.
