Senior Category Development Executive wanted for a leading FMCG manufacturer.
Working with a leading FMCG manufacturer, you will be required to support the account teams in profitably developing the business within specified accounts by presenting to trade customers a category approach to range, merchandising and, where feasible, pricing and promotions. To ensure that commercial activities are optimised from a category management perspective through providing analysis as required based on category, shopper, competitor and retailer knowledge.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of applying range and space principles
- Excellent working knowledge of continuous research data, both scan data and panel data - must have worked with either IRI/AC Nielsen or TNS panel on agency or supplier side
- Experience gained within the UK FMCG environment
- Basic commercial awareness
- Advanced data analytical skills and advanced MS Excel user
- Good communication skills (including presentation delivery and report writing)
- Ability to problem solve
