About the Client

This research agency has specialised in consumer research to help marketers connect with shoppers and close sales and conduct over 800 custom studies annually in over 40 countries to guide, assess and improve packaging and shopper marketing efforts, including qualitative research, quantitative on-shelf assessments, in-store, online and in-home studies.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the implementation of quantitative consumer research studies, primarily in Europe and also across the Globe. The roles will be based in Geneva.

Daily responsibilities will initially include study design and fielding, data checking & analysis and report preparation. This will involve working with client companies to ensure that the research properly addresses their marketing issues and ensuring the studies are implemented correctly.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in market research
  • Strong numeracy and analytical ability
  • Familiarity with Quantitative Analysis and basic PC software packages
  • Intermediate-Advanced graph and charting skills in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Fluent reading/writing/speaking English is compulsory. Additional languages are considered a plus
  • Interest in consumer behaviour
  • Understanding of retail issues, either through previous research or marketing position(s) or actual hands-on retail experience.
  • Ability to work independently and be managed remotely
  • A willingness to travel occasionally for field visits
