Leading FMCG food manufacturer requires an excellent Commercial Manager
You will focus on delivering a comprehensive category management service and drive the account, focusing on growth ahead of the competition and exceeding budgeted sales. You must have excellent commercial category management experience.
To be the primary commercial contact for a major retail account.
To manage the retailer account within the company, to improve the communication and further strengthen the client facing team.
To drive the account, delivering the following:
- Yr on yr growth ahead of our competitors / market
- Sales budget
- Gross margin targets by category
- 12 month rolling account plan, including NPD / category understanding
- Visibility throughout the business of account
- Value initiatives plan
- Customer KPIs
- Weekly sales reports
- Monthly commercial reports
Requirements:
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Category management understanding
- Excellent product sourcing and negotiation skills
- Experience from FMCG environment
- Sound commercial understanding, examples of where this has been put to use
- Previous experience working on large food retail account would be preferable
