Category Manager

With one direct report, you will head up the Category Management function for this major global FMCG business with products spanning three core categories.  The Category Manager sits on the management team, so it's a high profile role with significant responsibility & accountability.  Category Management for our client is very commercial & requires someone with exceptional analytical skills; so you might already be a Category Manager with another FMCG manufacturer, looking for a step up, or you may work for one of the continuous agencies such as dunnhumby, Nielsen, IRI or Kantar & fancy a move client side.  There is a high level of customer contact, so account facing experience is essential, as is the need to maintain category captaincy with many of the major retailers.
