THE ROLE Reporting to the Customer Marketing Controller, as part of a medium sized team, you will be responsible for all marketing activities related to major assigned grocery customers. Working with traditional category marketing strategies, you will be analysing reports and data from more junior members of the team and developing selling stories and presentations for the sales team, as well as attending customer meetings. You will also be responsible for the Trade marketing campaigns and activities, from instore display and events and promotion. You will build strong relationships with the customer and the national accounts team alike to strengthen the trading partnerships. This is a great role for candidates that want varied work and the opportunity to really make a visible impact on the business. THE PERSON Applicants currently working as Brand Managers, Trade Marketing Managers, Product Managers or in any FMCG or B2B marketing role with a provable track record of success are invited to apply if they have - We are looking for candidates from a sales, category management, trade marketing or customer development background from within the wider consumer goods industry. You will need to be aware of industry data such as IRI, Neilsen, Dunhumby, retail link or TNS and how this can translate into essential information to enhance sales and instore marketing. You will need to be strong communicators and influencers at all levels internally and externally and able to work both as part of a team and autonomously at times.
