Interim Shopper Insight Manager
Salary: c.£40,000 - £45,000 pro rata - 9 months

Using consumer insight to develop and shape shopper/in-store marketing strategy is the challenge of this fascinating role with a leading FMCG snacks business. Your role will include briefing out qual & quant research - using the data to advise on shopper purchasing behaviour and motivations, in-store activity/display, product ranging and customer segmentation. You will work closely with the commercial and brand marketing teams and will regularly present data and business recommendations to retail customers. This is a role for someone who enjoys getting under the skin of the consumer and who can hit the ground running in a busy, hands-on and lively environment. FMCG experience preferred but broader customer research experience also considered.
Our Ideal Candidate
With a background on the agency or client-side, you will have superb qual and quant insight experience, ideally including both shopper research(intercepts/exit interviews, accompanied shops, in-store observations, segmentations) and continuous consumer panel and retail data too. You will enjoy digging deep into the data to identify the key issues and opportunities translating these into clear business priorities and recommendations for product, promotional, display and category management strategies. A confident and polished style is key as you will be presenting to internal and external contacts, ensuring that you gain buy-in to your ideas and recommendations.
