Are you an experience Market researcher who really wants to make a difference? Do you have the ability to develop a strong innovation pipeline and manage global brand equities? Do you want to be influential in the strategic direction of a global healthcare giant? Then this is the role for you!
Reporting to the Category Market Research Director, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of market research plans for the assigned categories. Providing support to the Global Category Development Marketing and R&D teams in interpreting market research results/contributing to action plans following research. The primary role of the Market Research function is to contribute to long term profitable growth by:
Providing in depth consumer understanding through state of the art, cost effective, qualitative and quantitative research methodology's applied consistently and across markets
Providing consulting and interpretation of consumer and market research data to Categories, R&D and Area Management organisations
Develop and apply consistently standardised market reading data across categories and geographies
Ensure rapid and easy access to consumer and market research data across those areas of the organisation where they are needed.
It is essential that you have:
Significant and proven experience with both qualitative and quantitative state of the art research methodology's
Experience in working within a global leading FMCG matrix structured organization
Experienced in designing & implementing market research on a multi country basis.
Strong consumer orientation.
Proven leadership skills
Results orientated, independent, entrepreneurial and self-motivating.
Well developed interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships with category marketing management and the Global MR team.
Commercial understanding of corporate and operational business issues.
Strong understanding of marketing strategy, planning issues, budgeting, priority setting.
Strong understanding and proven experience of the product innovation process
Strong project management skills
Ability to understand business strategies, tactics and implement measurable research plan
