This leading European marketing consultancy requires a consultative, analytical and motivated Account Manager to deliver strategic recommendations and category insights to a portfolio of leading consumer goods manufacturers and retailers.
Working with a number of global and/or European businesses, as Account Manager you will be key in delivering relevant and insightful information and proactive analyses to your clients Sales, Brand, Category or Buying Managers, and through presentations and proactive analysis provide them with solutions to their sales, marketing and distribution issues.
As Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
INSIGHT PROVISION:
Consult with client/s to develop insight briefs and interrogate data in line with these using the ad hoc team
Create and deliver concise and insightful presentations
Develop category and sector expertise within the team
Proactive analysis through maintaining strong industry knowledge and building relationships with other insight teams
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT:
Manage the day-to-day of the existing client base
Assist line manager in forming plans for maintenance and growth of client revenues
Ensure continuous improvement in output and that client expectations are met
Ensure team resources are deployed effectively
Assist client/s in maximising their ROI in continuous and ad hoc services
With an excellent background in the consumer arena, you will demonstrate good insight and strong analytics, combined with commercial awareness and an ability to manage accounts. You may come from an insights, category, marketing, buying, sales, market research or supply chain background as long as you have market insights experience in creating, interpreting and analysing consumer data.
