An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding individual to work for this Global Leading FMCG company on their No.1 Leading brand! Within this key role you will be responsible for effectively and profitably managing all aspects of the brand portfolio – both day-to-day and more strategically - in conjunction with one Group Brand Manager, and as part of the European marketing team/structure. Maximising all appropriate commercial opportunities, whilst working within the agreed financial parameters.

The role will involve:

*Working with the Consumer Insight Team & Category Management Team to analyse market data and trends identifying market opportunities and threats, brand strengths and weaknesses, providing timely and accurate reports with appropriate recommendations on packaging, product development and pricing
*In conjunction with the R&D Team, administer the on-going programme of product improvement and range extension development
*Assist in the development of the H&S marketing strategy, both at local level and at European level, and make recommendations for change and ensure effective implementation
*Assist in concept development and testing as well as development of a long-term innovation plan (at European level but also at local level)
*Work with Group Product Manager, in conjunction with the EZ team, to develop and implement advertising
*Implement and monitor, in conjunction with the account team, national and account-specific activity, where needed, ensuring everything is fully costed, agreed & evaluate
*Work alongside Category Management and NAM`s in providing accurate information on customers and competitors, and analyse this data in order to promote our product range and therefore increase penetration or frequency
*Co-ordinate external agencies
*In conjunction with the Demand Analyst and the NAM`s ensure that analysis, agreement and updating of all range forecasts is effected to the agreed company financial period/timetable
*Monitor, Evaluate and Report Sales/Stock levels
*Monitor & manage the advertising & promotions budget
*Establish and maintain functional links with all manufacturing plants, supporting the continuous and unbroken supply of product in line with forecasts. NB H&S manufacturing is largely done in France.

You will have minimum 5 years experience of FMCG marketing, ideally food experience (not essential) Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise, good written and verbal communication skills including ability to give effective & persuasive presentations. Highly numerate with good analytical skills and ability to make recommendations for action based on data.
